Pool openings and closing

A very important step to remember is proper pool winterization. Just as in a camp or R.V., winterization is important to project your investment. Trust our team of professionals to do it right!

Opening pool services:

Home Owner's Responsibility
Owner is responsible for draining water off cover.
There must be power on in the pool area and pump.
If owner wants cover, bags, etc. to be put away a note should be left in the payment envelope.

Full inground
Includes: Cover removed and folded up; shocking and starting up the pool (as long as there is enough water to start the pool); and all summer parts re-installed (ladder, rails, diving board etc.)

Partial inground
Includes: Shocking and starting up the pool (as long as there is enough water to get running) and all summer parts re-installed (ladder, rails, diving board etc.) Owner must take the cover off themselves.

Above ground
Includes: Taking off cover and folding it up; shocking and starting the pool (as long as there is enough water in the pool); and all summer parts re-installed (ladder, rails, etc.).

Closing pool services:

Home Owner's Responsibility
Owner to drop water to one inch below the skimmer.
Winter plugs, cover, water bags etc. must be left out.
If owner wants pool parts put away they must leave a note out with payment.
A $75.00 fee will be added if the pool is not pumped down before our arrival.

Full inground
Includes: Taking off the ladder and railings; adding winter chemicals; and winterizing all plumbing, filter and pump including anti-freeze. The cover will be put on and secured.

Partial inground
Includes: Taking off the ladder and railings; adding winter chemicals; and winterizing all plumbing, filter and pump including anti-freeze. Owner must put on winter cover and secure it themselves.

Above ground
Includes: Taking out the ladder; winterizing any lines, pump/ filter, plugging returns; adding winter chemicals; and covering the pool with the owner's winter cover.
